An algebra is called a commutative algebra if [math]\displaystyle{ m \circ \sigma = m }[/math] where [math]\displaystyle{ \sigma }[/math] is the transpose map on [math]\displaystyle{ B \otimes B }[/math] and [math]\displaystyle{ m }[/math] is the multiplication.
