The Jones polynomial of the mirror of a knot in the variable [math]\displaystyle{ A }[/math] is the same as the Jones polynomial of the original knot with [math]\displaystyle{ A }[/math] replaced by [math]\displaystyle{ A^{-1} }[/math]:
