I think a more accurate wording would be '[math]\displaystyle{ W_{j_n} }[/math] of any chord diagram [math]\displaystyle{ = W_{j_n} }[/math] of the diagram with a chord replaced with a bridge [math]\displaystyle{ - 2 \times W_{j_n} }[/math] of the diagram with the same chord removed'
