A Student's Question

Hello Prof:

I have a question regarding the good deeds points.
Do you only accept the first person who post their
lecture notes online and receive good deeds points or
anybody can post them and receive good deeds points
for their notes. How many points do they get per
lecture notes.

Do you get any good deeds point if you post the
solution to the assigment? and midterm? How many
people can post those and how many points will they
receive?

If I post solution to the even number questions that
were assigned but are not to be handed in. Do I get
any points for that and how many? Thanks

Dror's Answer

The "About" page for this class states that "There is no pre-set system for awarding these points". This remains true, and the system can not be made more explicit. Yet, a good deed should literally be a good deed - in other words, it should be good for someone for something (related to this class). Obviously much delayed lecture notes are less of a good deed than timely notes, low quality notes are less of a good deed than high quality notes, and low-relevance notes are less of a good deed than high-relevance notes.
