Using the skein relation, we see that $J(K_{1})$ has a factor of $x$ where $K_{1}$ is a knot with one double point. Analogously, for $K_{n+1}$ - a knot with $k+1$ double points, $J(K_{n+1})$ will have a factor of $x^{n+1}$. In particular, the coefficient of $x^{n}$, $J_{n}$, will be zero.
