Perhaps it is better to phrase the lhs of the conjecture with <math>e^{-xS}</math> replaced with <math>X^{-S}</math>; that is, to set <math>X=e^x</math> or <math>x=\log X</math>. |

Perhaps it is better to phrase the lhs of the conjecture with [math]\displaystyle{ e^{-xS} }[/math] replaced with [math]\displaystyle{ X^{-S} }[/math]; that is, to set [math]\displaystyle{ X=e^x }[/math] or [math]\displaystyle{ x=\log X }[/math].
