91.3km, riding Marli, with temperatures in the 0-4C range. It was a hard day! In the winter I'm a bit out of shape, and I picked the wrong bike (it was mostly paved roads and the lighter and nimbler Bromp would have been better), and I didn't sleep enough the night before. Often that's not a problem - I just stop somewhere and take a nap. But you can't do that when it's cold! Plus, the forecast was for rain starting at 3pm, making a short winter day even shorter. I could barely take breaks.
It did rain on me some at the very end, and I got a bit wet. But I've gotten a lot more wet on rides before. Oy.
