The plan was to go all the way around the Toronto Islands but at some point a police boat stopped us because some radius around the CNE was closed due to the Canadian International Airshow. So instead we had to portage across from the outer side of the Islands to the inner one - and this actually made our trip a lot shorter. With Paul, about 15km total - probably around 12km paddling and the rest portaging and wandering on the Islands.
