My first serious bike ride in Israel since probably the 80s! I bought a bike for 900NIS and the guy at the store promised to buy it back for 600 at the end of my stay. Part of the ride was fresh, a part was a visit to my childhood town of Kiryat Gat (including my first home, 1966-1970)., and a part was a repeat of roads I rode on many many times in the 80s. 105km, partially on sand-covered side roads and partially in the rain, so it was pretty hard.
